Cover Your Ears Trad

Synopsis

Cover Your Ears examines the long-running debate over when music is considered art and when it is labeled obscene. Looking across 100 years of songs, from protest music to mainstream Top 40 hits, the film explores how censorship has influenced the way music is made, judged, and consumed, while tracing shifting legal and moral boundaries within the industry.
