The Wedding Day

Synopsis

In a Polish village, the celebration of a wedding unfolds alongside the memory of a tragedy from World War II that took place on the same ground. As the past and present echo against each other, the film offers a bitter portrait of a xenophobic community that has chosen to forget its own history, revealing how buried violence and prejudice continue to shape the world around the festivities.
