The Electrical Life of Louis Wain EN

Synopsis

At the end of the 19th century, eccentric British artist Louis Wain rises to prominence through his surreal, playful, and sometimes psychedelic paintings of cats. As his unusual work helps transform the public’s perception of the animals, the images also seem to mirror his declining sanity, shaping a portrait of an artist whose life and art become closely intertwined.
