Sharkcano: Hawaii

Synopsis

Biologists Dr. Mike Heithaus and Dr. Frances Farabaugh investigate a striking question in Hawaii: why are sharks drawn to the islands’ volcanoes? To search for answers, they free dive with tiger sharks, among the most dangerous sharks in the ocean, observing them up close as they explore the connection between these powerful predators and Hawaii’s volcanic environment.
