Don't Come Upstairs EN

Synopsis

Filmmaker Mike Lobel begins with a true-crime investigation, but the work soon pulls him toward a secret his own family has kept hidden for 30 years. Using home videos and his search for what his parents withheld from him and his siblings, he confronts the silence around generational trauma and the risks of uncovering the past while asking what parents may pass on to their children.
